I tried a lot of the different lard/tallow soaps and I can confidently say this is the best. It lathers well, doesn't turn to mush when wet, and doesn't have a strong smell.

It leaves a white residue on your dishes. Definitely will not purchase again.

I LOVE this simple lye bar soap made by Troutcreeksoaps! I use it in the shower and it leaves me feeling clean and fresh. It does not leave behind any kind of sticky residue that most commerically available soaps do. It's not too harsh. Cleans off grease very easily. My skin feels lightly moisturized with no irritation. Things I love about this soap. Affordable, small business, suds up well, simple ingredients. Does everything soap should. I use with a bamboo scrubber for my dishes and my hands aren't irritated like they are when I use Dawn. I love it.

Definitely worth the money for the amount of soap you get. This soap is perfect to get the grease and oil away. Great for cleaning up my kids messy eating habits. My son also has oilier skin so he loves to use it when he showers and he told me he likes the coffee inclusion in this new batch. I keep one in the shower and one by my sink. Great soap. It’s an odd transition to use a soap that smells truly like nothing. If you don’t adapt shower habits you can leave disappointed because we’re all so used to smelling like the Macy’s fragrance section after a shower. I found that getting a loofah and scrubbing a bit harder on particularly stinky areas (armpits for me) can help neutralize odor. Otherwise this stuff suds up pretty well and is kind to skin. Takes some getting used to but I’m definitely a fan.

Great product and for a great price. I use this after washing dishes to keep my hands from drying and it works perfectly. I love the no nonsense attitude. I hope to create and similar vibe with my soap in my local area.

At first I was hesitant to buy a shop from a smaller seller. However, my fears were assuaged as soon as I opened up the box and smelt the amazing coffee scent. The soap itself appears to be high quality and lathered well and didn’t drag on my skin like some other soap brands do. Definitely will be ordering more in the near future!

I didn’t realize how refreshing a truly unscented soap could be until I started using this one. No fragrance no almost smell just clean. It lathers and rinses off easily, and leaves my skin comfortable not tight or dry.What I like most is how intentional it feels. You can tell it’s made for people who care about ingredients, sensitive skin, or just prefer things simple and honest. Once you it you won’t go back to anything else.

I’ve purchased from troutcreeksoaps several times, mainly because I know their product is simple and clean, no random chemicals to give me a rash or irritation. The addition of coffee grounds to the soap is EXCELLENT and on par with bars you would buy from Dr. Squatch or one of those bars of soap that smells like perfume. I love a bar that can exfoliate. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve tried tons of “natural soaps” and now these are the only ones I’ll buy. I started on the plain soaps but now prefer the coffee, the amount of exfoliation is perfect, and each bar lasts for months.

This is some great soap. It has a rich lather, cleans well, and is unscented as advertised. The bar is very long-lasting. The coffee grounds give it a nice 'scrubby' quality that helps wake up my skin in the morning. It’s simple, effective, and clearly made with care. Definitely worth the purchase!

Very nice soap

This is a great alternative to traditional soaps made with chemicals. AFAICT this is traditionally made with lye, water & lard. Subjectively I feel cleaner after use. It's a good deal as it is cheaper than some of the tallow (beef fat) soap offerings out there as it is made from pork fat. My only complaint is the size - you get a lot of soap, but I have to cut these disks into halves or thirds to fit in our showers and around our sinks. I'm pretty sure it is made by a small business - so another reason to support.

I use goats milk soap in an amber smell on the norm. When I saw lard soap, I thought it would be good to try and see the similarities. Honestly, I prefer the non smelling soap and this was perfect! I have only used it one time. There is not a lather, a very mild one actually and my preference. When I compare it to the soaps I use on a regular basis, this one will last a good bit. My guesstimate is it will last a good two weeks with daily showering. My comparison is the longevity of my current soaps. So this is a win win. My skin doesn't feel slimy or dried out and I didn't have a reaction to it. It comes 3 to this box and its in the round shape as shown. The bards didn't stick together so that is also a plus. I like the natural ingredients and I also like that the makers have their own pictures. Love the ingenuity and I would purchase from these people again. A++ for making a quality product. Thank you!
